Application In Person
- For a calibration request for dial gauges You must submit your inquiry to Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ). You can find the BSJ contact information by clicking this hyperlink: – BSJ Contacts.
- Request the form to apply for calibration at one of BSJ offices located in Kingstone, Montego Bay, Mandeville, Ocho Rios, or Savanah-La-Ma. You may request the application form via either email or by phone.
- Complete the application form in the manner required.
- Make sure you have the dial gauge ready to be calibrated, along with all necessary supporting documents, then go to office BSJ office.
- Pay the application fee at the cashier, and collect the receipt for payment.
- Completely submit the application along with an indication of the dial for the BSJ official at the desk of service and receive the acknowledgement receipt of the application.
- The gauge on the dial will be passed on via the BSJ metrology laboratory for proper analysis and calibration according to the BSJ standards.
- The BSJ inspectors in the lab will calibrate and calibrate the dial gauge so that it is able to give the correct readings.
- Go to the BSJ office and pick up the external caliper calibrated.
