Apply for Calibration of External Calipers In Jamaica By Online
Application In Person
- To request the calibration for an outside caliper you need to submit an application with the Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ). You can find the BSJ contact information by clicking this hyperlink: – BSJ Contacts.
- Download the calibration application form at either of the BSJ offices located in Kingstone, Montego Bay, Mandeville, Ocho Rios, or Savanah-La-Ma. You may request the application form via phone or email.
- Fill out the application as required.
- Make sure you have the external caliper ready to be calibrated along with necessary documents to support it. Then go to office BSJ office.
- Pay the application fee at the cashier. You will then receive the receipt for payment.
- Completely submit the application form as well as the external calibrator at the BSJ official at the desk of service and take the acknowledgement receipt for the application.
- The external caliper is sent on to the BSJ metrology lab to ensure proper analysis and calibration in accordance with the BSJ standards.
- The BSJ inspectors in Lab will be calibrating the external scale in order to get the correct readings.
- Go to the BSJ office and pick up the external caliper that has been calibrated.
