  • To apply for a Coastal Vessel License personally, the applicant is required to go to in the Office at the Department of Petroleum Resources.

  • Visit the office to obtain an application form to apply for a Coastal Vessel License from the appropriate department.

  • To create a new application, select the “New Application” option under the “Application” drop-down on the right.
  • The new application page will be opened. Fill in the application form with the required information and then click the “save and keep going” button.
  • The next screen will allow you to you can upload the required documents by clicking the “Select document” button for each document, and then click the “continue” button when you are done uploading.
  • The next step is the payment page. Go through the details of fees and then click the “Confirm and Continue to Remit” button. Pay the amount that is applicable to your permit’s category according to the on-screen instructions and follow the subsequent steps.

What are all the Eligibility

  • Every Nigerian Gas and Oil organization who wishes to use Coastal Vessels for transportation of large quantities of petroleum or petroleum products could apply.
  • The company that is applying for the permit must have a good reputation or be an affiliate of a group of businesses that have a good reputation. It should also belong to a corporation or businesses with good standing.
  • The applicant’s company must be accepted from The Federal Government in all aspects.

  • Annual License Fee that is Non-Refundable: N 200000.00
