How to Apply for Dual Citizenship in Nigeria by yourself
- To apply for dual citizenship in person, the applicant has to go to the Citizenship and Business Department of Interior Ministries.

- Visit the office and pick up an application form that must be filled out to obtain Dual Citizenship from the appropriate department.
- Fill out the application form by providing pertinent information within the sections. Affirm it by signing it after you have completed it.
- After you have completed your application, be sure that you have attached all the required documents on the “Required documents” section of this page.
- Then, you can submit it personally to the relevant office. Pay the amount as instructed by the official.
- Following submission, the application and the documents attached will be presented to be verified and validated.
- After verifying that the necessary requirements were properly supplied after which the officials continue to complete the necessary actions.
- After all the necessary steps have been completed after which the file is prepared to be collected, you’ll be informed and asked to pick up the document.
