Apply for Electrical Installation Contractor Certificate for Corporates in Nigeria in online
- In order to apply for an electrical install certificate or certificate of corporations, you need to apply via the web to Nigeria Electricity Management Agency (NEMSA) by clicking the NEMSA link.
First, the corporation will need to appoint a contractor submit the form.- When you are on the site Go through the details under “APPLICATION PROCEDURE for CORPORATE Certification” and create documents in soft copy necessary documents on your computer to be submitted to the chosen contractor.
- Scroll down the page, and click the “APPLY for CORPORATE Certification” button. You will be directed on the application online C.
- Complete the online application in the manner you want and upload the necessary supporting documents. Then click to click the “Submit” button.
- The applicant will be notified via email. notice with the information that your application has been successfully submitted , along with the application number. Additionally, you will receive a confirmation by email to the address you provided.
- Pay the processing charges through your Treasury Single Account (TSA) and get the receipt for payment.
- Visit your local NEMSA branch in your area and present the receipt for payment to the official in charge in the office at reception.
- Then NEMSA will evaluate the application and inform you by your email address whether you are qualified for citification or in the event that you aren’t suitable.
- If you’re eligible your application will be accepted for an exam and will be informed via email within a week prior to the exam date.
- The day of the exam the test will consist of an exam of written competence as well as an oral interview that will be held by the panel of certification.
- Then, you will be informed of the results of the exam within two weeks of the exam as well as the oral interview.
- If you are able to pass the test then you’ll have to pay the fee for your competency certificate through the TSA within one week following the day you receive the confirmation.
- After the payment is received, your certification of competency will then be issued to you within a month after NEMSA having received the payment.

Validity
The license is valid for a period of six years. If the designated contractor quits the company The Corporate Certification is invalidated.
