Apply for Electrical Installation Contractor Certificate for Individuals in Nigeria in online
- To become a licensed electrician You must submit your application online to Nigeria Electricity Management Agency (NEMSA) via the NEMSA URL.
- When you are on the site Once there, you must read the details within the application process for your individual certificate and then make soft copies of all the required document on your PC.
- Scroll down the page until you click the “APPLY for Individual Certificate” button. This will take you towards the application online form.
- Fill out the online form in the correct manner and upload the necessary documents. Then click to click the “Submit” button.
- The applicant will be notified via email. confirmation to inform you that your application has been successfully completed along with the application number. Additionally, you will receive a confirmation by email to the address you provided.
- Pay the processing charges through using the Treasury Single Account (TSA) and receive the payment receipt.
- Visit your local NEMSA Office in the area and present the receipt for payment to the official of the service in the office at reception.
- Then NEMSA will evaluate your application and notify you via email whether you’re eligible to be cited or If you’re not qualified.
- If you’re eligible your application will be scheduled for an exam and will be informed via email within a week prior to the date of the examination.
- The day of the exam you’ll be required to take an examination of your written proficiency as well as an oral interview that will be that is conducted through the certified panel.
- You will then be informed of the exam results two weeks following the examinations as well as the oral interview.
- If you are able to pass the test then you’ll have to pay the cost of the competency certificate through the TSA no later than one week following the day you receive the notice.
- After the payment is received, your competence certificate is issued within one month after NEMSA having received the payment.
