Application Procedure:

  • Visit to the Caisse Nationale de Securite Sociale (CNSS) office close to where you live and let them know your desire at the front desk.
  • Request forms can be obtained in the nearest CNSS branch office, or downloaded it through this CNSS website portal. Click the button below to download: (Application for form)
  • Complete and submit the duly filled application form together with supporting documents (listed under the “Required documents” section) to be processed and verified to the official who is in charge of the CNSS.
  • If the official authorized to do so is satisfied that the documents are correct, you will be informed of the result and given additional instructions.

  • Birth certificate that is legal for the insured

  • School certificates for children ranging from 6 through 20
  • A certificate that is non-perceptual (CNP) in the event that your other parent happens to be an official in the civil service or a student
  • Certificate of no-schooling for children who are disabled
  • Certificate of birth (legalized copy)
  • Birth certificate (3rd and the 6th month)

THE MARRIES

  • Legalized marriage certificate
  • Birth certificates that are legal for children
  • Certificates of medical care for kids younger than 6 years old
  • School certificates for children ranging from 6 through 20
  • A certificate that is non-perceptual (CNP) in the event that the parent with the opposite parent is an official in the civil service or a student
  • No-schooling certificate for children who are disabled
  • Certificate of birth (legalized copy)

A PERSON INSURRED

  • Pregnancy certificate (3rd visit)
  • Copies of CNIs, passports Residence card or driving licence of the insured
  • CNI Copy, Passport Residence card consular card or Driving license from the mom of the child
  • Last paycheck slip.

NEW BIRTH ALIGNMENTNB: For infants less than 2 years old, include:

  • Certificate of birth (legalized copy)
  • Birth certificate (3rd 6th and 3rd month)

What Are All The Eligibility

A married or single couple that are insured by the CNSS and who have one or more child(ren)under 16 years of age and the child(ren) are in compliance with the following requirements:

  • Children who are dependent on the insurance that reside in Gabon and fall within some of the categories below have the right to receive family allowances:
  • Children born from marriages or weddings of the couple in question, provided that the marriage or the marriages concerned have been declared to be of civil status.
  • Children of single mothers employed;
  • The children the spouse of the insured had been a part of prior marriages in the event of an official death or a legally pronounced divorce, unless the children were under the care of the husband who was the first or the latter has contributed to their care;
  • Children who were adopted by the married insured or an adoption legitimation according to the regulations in the Civil Code.
