Apply for Firearms Licence (Shooting Club) in Hong Kong
- To apply for the Firearms Licence for shooting club members, you’ll have to submit your application through the Arms Licensing Department.
- The link is available under the “Documents to Use’ section which you can click to get the Application Form.
- Send the completed form along with two recent, full-face photos (4cm and 5cm).
- Additionally, you will need to provide 3R photos as well as two duplicates of your catalog along with the purchase order and agreement if they are available (each gun).
- Make payment for the fee of application.

Exemption from section 4(3) of the Ordinance (per permit) : (HK$) 600 :
- Possession Licence (issue and renewal) issued to a security guard: 275.
- If there is no other way in any other circumstance: 2,370

The Firearms Act and Ammunition (Storage Charges) Order (Cap 238 Sub. leg. B):
- Fee for storage of arms (for each item for each month or a portion of the month) 170
- Fee for storage of imitation firearms (for each item for each month , or a portion of the month) 170
- Fee for storage of ammunition (for each 100 rounds of ammunition, or part thereof, per month or a portion of the month) (160)
- Fee for storage of arms and ammunition in transit, where the ammunition and weapons are stored in a container or similar container(for every 50 kg gross weight, or part of it per month or portion of the month) 120
