Eligibility

  • You must have a valid proof of address and identity documents to open a savings accounts at the post office.
  • Anyone is eligible to submit an application for the running of an office savings Bank within Uganda.
  • This program allows an individual to manage an Post office saving Bank in Uganda.

  • Any financial institution that wants to run a post office savings bank has to register at Central Bank , and be well-versed in the regulations applicable to the practice of financial institutions in Uganda.

The Document is required

  • This license permits the owners to operate a postoffice and a savings Bank located in Uganda.
