Apply for Limited Stay Permit In Indonesia By Yourself
- Complete the application form, and attach the required information.
- The receptionist checks the required requirements, scans documents needs and issue a receipts to applicants who has fulfilled all formal criteria.
- If the applicant is eligible, the application is sent on to the Director of Immigration to be approved.
- If the applicant’s application proves to be questionable If the application is deemed to be doubtful, the Chief of Immigration will carry out a re-examination of the required requirements.
- In the event that an application has been accepted If the application is approved, the applicant has to pay the application fee in cash to the treasurer.
- Following the payment, fingerprints and photos will be taken. The signatures are affixed.
- The registration for the Limited Stay Permit will be written and signed.
- A filled-in Limit Stay Permit is mailed by Officer Counters Delivery. Officer Counters Delivery.
- The issue of the Limited Stay Permit will be confirmed by the Immigration Division Chief/Director General of Immigration.
- Counter clerks will register an application and will issue a receipt for the revenue to the person who has satisfied the formal conditions.

General Requirements
- Application form
- Letter of assurance from the Guarantor except for foreigners who are legally married to an Indonesian citizen
- Valid passport of the national with a photocopy
Specific Requirements
For foreigners who have the intention of investing or working as an expert, or performing obligations as clergy:
- Of residence
- Recommendation letter from the Ministry or the government agency
- The Plan for the Use of Foreign Workers (RPTKA) from the relevant authority

For foreigners for the goal of conducting research:
- From the home
- Letter of recommendation from the ministry or agency of the government
- Recommendations regarding the purposes of research or study from the authority in charge (Ministry of Education/ LIPI)

For children born when born in Indonesia Region, father and or mother’s restricted stay permits holders:
- Copy of birth certificate

for children with nationals of other countries who enlisted with their father or the Indonesian state: Indonesia:

- photocopy of identification card of fathers and mother are residents of Indonesia (still valid)

- recommendations from ministers or agencies of the government that are involved

Eligibility
Foreign nationals who wish to spend a brief period of time in Indonesia.
Validity
A limited stay permit can be granted for a time period of two (two) years. It can be extended.
