Apply for Liquor License in Hong Kong
- For a request for liquor licence, applicants need to make an application with the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department.
- The download link for the application is available under the ‘Documents to Use’ section.
- Complete the form and submit it along with the following documents:
- Two recent photos (35mm by 40mm) of the applicant
- A duplicate of applicant’s HKID Card;
- A copy of of the certificates of registration for business of the restaurant or company (if the establishment in question is a limited-company) as well as
- Three versions of a floor plan depicting the layout of premises , with an exact description of the area where dancing is permitted (for applications that have a dance endorsements only).

- Three versions of a drawing depicting the layout of area, including a an exact description of the area where dancing is permitted (for applications that require a dancing endorsement only).
