Anyone who’s Smart card lost or stolen, may apply for an alternative Smart Card.

Fees

  • There is a charge that is $10.00 to replace any damaged or lost cards.
  • The $10.00 fee is waived on the first stolen or lost card for seniors.

Validity

  • The NIB Smart Card is renewable every five years for cardholders who are between 16 and 60 .
  • If you are celebrating your 16th birthday must apply for the new NIB card, which will be accompanied by a signature and photo on the card.
  • For those who are 60 years old or older, a new card with the word”Senior” will be given.
