Apply for Oil Testing In Jamaica By Yourself
- To apply for testing oil to be considered for oil testing, you must submit your application to Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ). You can find the BSJ contact details by clicking the following link: BSJ contacts.
- Get Form D for application at one of BSJ offices located in Kingstone, Montego Bay, Mandeville, Ocho Rios, or Savanah-La-Ma. You may request the application form by phone or email.
- Fill out the application as required.
- Take a sample of substance to test, along with all the supporting documents required.
- Stop by the BSJ office to pay the application fee at the cashier. You will receive the receipt of payment.
- Send the completed application form as well as the application sample for the BSJ official at the service desk . receive the acknowledgement receipt of the application.
- This sample is sent at the BSJ microbiological laboratory for proper analysis according to the BSJ guidelines.
- The BSJ inspectors in the lab will evaluate the specimen before assigning a score it. They will then create testing results.
- Go to the BSJ office to collect the test results or the certificate of acceptance.
