  1. The person who is interested or the applicant is required to get the passport applications forms A and B at the Passport office closest to you, such as the Directorate of Immigration office at the Internal Affairs Ministry in Kampala or at Passport office branches at the various district offices throughout the country or even at the closest Ugandan consulate or embassy,

  8. Print the completed application along with 3 copies of your invoice you will need to submit to the Directorate of Citizenship and the IMMIGRATION CONTROL department office.
  9. You have to be present in person for biometrics and digital photos capture at Directorate of Citizenship and immigration control office in Kampala or at Uganda High Commission in foreign countries.
  10. The below papers to Directorate of Citizenship and immigration control office:
    • A pre-filled online passport application form, as well as three invoices.
    • Birth certificate original and copy of photocopies.
    • Original National ID Card and photocopy.
    • Three Current passport size photos.
    • Recommends ID card copies and then write their signature on it.

Eligibility

Diplomats and other officials of the government like ministers, foreign services officers, chief justices chancellors, bank governors, vice chancellors from state universities who are recognized as traditional and cultural leaders, such as the Speaker and deputy speaker, and others who have a job that requires international travel with other people such as their spouses and families are eligible to apply for the diplomatic passport.
