Application In Person
- If you wish to change the name of your business applicants must fill out Form A with required documents and fees in the Business Licence Office.
- The applicant can pick up this form at the Business License Office or download the Form by clicking the URL: Form Link.
- The applicant must check the “change in business name” section on the forms. If there aren’t any Business Licence Offices in the area, the form may be submitted to an Treasury Office or a Family Island Administrator.
- If any names that are identified are not accepted, the person applying will be informed that the name was not selected and will be advised to choose one of the other options previously provided to them on their form.
- After the approval of the documents, the name is deemed to be approved.
- The application is completed within 7 working days.
- In the Business License Unit office will contact the applicant to inform them of the possibility to get their license.
- The applicant must pay the fee for the licence upon receipt of their licence.

- Letter of authorisation for Third Parties or Appointed Representatives, if the use of a Third Party is used, for example, an attorney or accountant allowing the use of their services on behalf of the client.
