Get Rehabilitation Assistance Grant In Jamaica By Yourself

  1. You must submit your application for the Rehabilitation Assistance Grant to the Ministry of Labour and Social Security. You can view the Link contact details of the MLSS via this link.
  3. To complete your application, visit the MLSS office of your parish.
  4. The Beneficiary Identification System (BIS), which will require you to give the Demographic and socio-economic information about your family members, will be entered.
  5. Next, the BIS information will be used for the BIS Proxy Means Testing score of the family.
  6. Your family will be chosen if it scores at or below the Rehabilitation Assistance Grant cut-off points
  7. Once you have been chosen, the MLSS will arrange a home visit to confirm the information you provided during the interview process.
  8. MLSS will dispatch the appropriate officials to do the necessary diligence on your family information.
  9. Once your information has been verified and you meet all the requirements, you can register to receive the grant via the appropriate channel, i.e. bank, post office or electronic deposit.
