  • The seed producers who are eligible for certification must get seeds to cultivate from the block or area assistant Director of Seed Certification or a similar authority as authorized.
  • The authority for state-wide seed certification has the name “Seed Certification Unit”

Apply in-person:

  • The applicant must be a registered seed-producer and the certificate is valid.
  • Application should be made to the nearest office to collect seeds.

  • Authorities will review the submitted requests and other documents.

  • The applicant is required to make the payment and then collect the seeds in accordance with the procedure the seeds are approved.

The seed will be issued with a tags for type of seed, the quality Tag number and additional information. The applicant should note the information in their records for future reference.
