- Send the required documents
- Since the enactment of the new law on marriage, it takes the marriage registry office approximately an hour for them to go through the documents submitted and then approve that the marriage application is valid.
- After the marriage registration office is satisfied with the application and has registered the marriage, it issues the marriage certificate which can be taken from the couples.

What Are All The Eligibility
- The couple must be of the age minimum required for males, which is 22 years old, and for women aged 20 years However, people can marry younger if their parents allow it.

Marriages between Chinese citizens living within the territory of China is required to be registered registration in accordance with the provisions in these Regulations.
The couple who plans to marry must be in person to the marriage registry authority in the location where one of them has a residence registration. They can then make an application for registration of marriage.
