Application In Person
- The applicant should go to the closest Road Transport Office (RTD) which is accessible via the following link : Office Locations
- Below below is the form which must be filled out and submitted with the following document: application form JPJ L1
- Before going to the RTD office, please ensure you have all the documents required that are listed under the the Documents Required section of this page.
- The officials at the RTD office are likely to assist you in obtaining a learner driver’s licence.
Required Documents For Learner Driver License
- Application is completed Formula JPJL1.
- Passport / NRIC (original or duplicate).
- Certificate for the 6 hour Theory and Practical Course (JPJL2B).
- Driver’s License Designated JPJL3.
- Certificate/Test Results Slip for Part 1.
- 1 color photograph (25 millimeters x 32 millimeters).
- JPJ L2B Certificate exemption form (if you already hold a Class B2 Driver License).
