Obtain a Marriage Certificate In Macau By Online
- You can submit your request for the ceremony certificate for marriage in person, or you can ask your children, spouse siblings, parents or your lawyer to make the request on your behalf, by granting the power of attorney. If your lawyer is able to apply at the Conservatory in person, he can sign your power of attorney creating an agent to submit the request.
- The application process is handled by the Civil Registry Office. Candidates can submit their applications in the Macao SAR Services Center.
- Make sure you pay all fees applicable.
If you’re not in Macau
The applicant could submit a formal application via post in the event that the applicant is not a resident of Macao.
- Send an application along with a photocopy of your particular identification document or provide the identity details and a review of the application to the Civil Registry of Macao.
- Make your application and the pay by check to Rua Do Campo 162, Edf. Public Administration, 13th Floor, Macao (cost varies according to the amount of sheets on the certificate, therefore the Conservatory asks applicants to look up the stamp duty and fee tables prior to making the application).
- Costs Include: The amount payable for stamp duty, plus the postage charge of MOP 30.00 and the amount that is charged by the bank for the payment of checks made abroad MOP 40.00 when the check is written in HKD or MOP 200.00 If the check is it is in USD.
- It could take up to 1 month before you get the certificate you have requested.
Required Documents For Obtain a Marriage Certificate
- The original of an applicant’s identity document.
- If it’s the spouse or siblings, children, parents or guardianship, it’s not required to have a power of attorney. But, proof of family connection and the original identity document for the request. Photocopy of identity documents for the parties or wedding certificate.
- Lawyers of Macao must provide the original identification document along with the photocopy of the identification document of the one who has been registered or the power of attorney issued by the attorney-contained authority to the other and must also present the original identification document from the prosecutor.

Eligibility
A person applying for the job must be at least 18 years of age.
You may apply for the procedure , or you can nominate your spouse or siblings, children, parents or guardianship lawyer to apply for this procedure for you, by signing a power of attorney.
If any of the above is not able to be registered in the civil registry in person then you may appoint a second person through proxy to submit the request and state the reason.
Fees
- Certificate of narration (computer printing) or full copy of certificate (photocopy) MOP 65.00 (50.00 Emoluments and 15.00 Stamp duty plus to each additional sheet, 5.00 stamp duty).
- Full copy certificate in the event that it is not removed through the photocopy (typed version) MOP 115.00 (100.00 of emoluments as well as 15.00 of duty on stamps including, for each additional sheet 5.00 of duty on stamps).
Processing Time
