- Step 2:Please follow the hyperlink to apply online : Apply online.
- Step 3:Applicant must enter their email address to start the application process in the address below “Enter your email address to begin” and then click the “Submit” tab, which is highlighted in red in the image below. You will receive a confirmation email. In the mail, applicants will receive a secure link and a personal identification number, which can be used to finish the online application procedure according to the confirmation mail.
- Step 4:Now open your email and click the link provided on the. Note down the your PIN code which is given. See the image below, in which you can see the link highlighted in RED.
- Step 5:In the next screen you will find some guidelines. Read it carefully and then click the “Continue” tab, which will be highlighted with RED in the image below.
- Step 6:Then you will be able to access an account login webpage. Enter your PIN into the textbox and then click “Login” tab. It is highlighted in red in the image below.
- Step 7:Now go through the privacy statement carefully and click on the checkbox that appears indicated in Yellow. After that, click the “Continue” tab that has been highlighted with RED in the image below.
- Step 8:In this section, you will need to fill in valid information and complete all fields within the “Personal Details” section. After that, click the “Next” tab, which appears highlighted in Yellow in the image below.
- Step 9:Then fill in the “Mailing address” section, and then click the “Next” tab. It will be highlighted Yellow in the image below.
- Step 10:Now select the appropriate option from the drop-down menu under the “Preferences” section. Then click the “Next” tab, which appears highlighted in Yellow in the image below.
- Step 11:Please adhere to the directions on the “Fingerprint Card” section to complete the procedure and click the “Next” tab. It appears highlighted in Yellow in the image below.
- Step 12:Now take a look at the directions within the “Payment” section. Then click “Proceed to Pay” tab that is highlighted in red in the image below.
- Step 13 Mail your fingerprints and the receipt email “FBI Criminal Justice Information Service Division” according to the address given below.FBI CJIS Division. Attn. SCU, Mod. D-2 1000 Custer Hollow Rd.,Clarksburg, West Virginia 26306.
- Step 14:The the same link as well as your personal identification number is used to verify the status of the application as well as to get results.
- Step 15:Once the process has been completed, FBI will send it to you via:
- Send emails using an encrypted link with a your personal identification number
- First class mail delivered by the U.S. postal service
