  1. In order to renew the ID of your card you’ll be required to visit the office of the National Directorate of Civil Identification.
  2. You’ll need to carry with you your expired or expired ID card or the latest identification card number.
  3. Submit an application to renew along with the payment of the renewal cost.

Fees for renewal:

  • In the event that the card has been issued to a person who is not yet 18 years old, the card must be 90 or 90,
  • For those over 18 Over 18 years old. 180 and 00MT.


The ID card needs to be renewed at least every 5 years or until the age of 40 for the holder.

A ID card for holders who are between 40 to 50 is valid for a period of 10 years.

For ID cards that are issued to holders who are over 50years old, this ID remains valid for the rest of their lives.


The Biometric Identity Card is issued by the National Directorate of Civil Identification.
