Required Documents For  Renew Passport 

  • Current passport
  • Cedula de Identidad (I.D. )(if the person doesn’t possess a valid passport or it’s stolen or lost)

Instructions

  • If the person who holds the passport is not over 18 years of age either parent or legal guardians are required to sign an authorisation, to which they need to provide their own ID along with a birth certificate for either the baby or family record in which the child is registered.

The document is needed

A Uruguayan Passport is valid for only five years validity starting at the time of its issuance and is valid one time to five (5) additional years. It will expire within 10 years. If this is the case with your passport, you are able to request a renewal for this booklet in person or by post.
