‘Basic electricity’ vols 1 – 5, by M.E Van Valkenburgh
To grasp the basics, read the entire book. The book may be found in the college library, or online.
2. Next, read Basic Electrical Technology by VK Mahta.
The concepts were explained in great detail by this man.
Do not try to solve the problems in the chapter, as they are often related to Physics.
3. Refer to B.L Theraja vol. 1 for problem solving.
These three steps will get you up to speed with the basics.
