How To Apply for a Business Licence In Anguilla

1. Complete the business licence application Formula
2. Complete the form and submit it along with any other necessary documents.
3. After the application has been approved, the fee must be paid through Inland Revenue Department. Inland Revenue Department for payment.
4. After the fee is paid, IRD issues a business certificate, which the business owner has to display at the location of the business.

Documents that are required Business Licence

Local Companies/ Investors:

• Application form completed (Form A Request to apply for a Business Licence in compliance with Sections 5 and 6 of Trades, Businesses, Occupations and Professions Licensing Act T40 of 2000)
• Business Plan is required for technical Businesses
• The qualifications must be offered for technical Businesses
• If Company, provide Certificates and Articles of Incorporation
• If your business involves the sale of food items, Environmental Health approval must be specified.

Overseas Investors:

• Application form completed (Form An Application for Business Licence, in accordance with Section 5 of the Trades, Businesses, Occupations and Professions Licensing Act T40 of 2000)
• Business Plans
• Resumes and qualifications
• If Company, provide Certificates and Articles of Incorporation
• Police Records no longer than 6 months
• Passport Information and pictures

Due Diligence must be conducted using passport details

• At minimum, 3 Character References or Testimonials, other than family members
