  1. Check out your local Ministry of health Department of Finance office to submit your application.
  2. Visit the Pre-Screen Clerk office and obtain the application form.
  3. Complete the form and attach the necessary documents to complete the application.
  4. Complete the application form to allow the verification process and to be processed.
  5. The Financial office will look into your application and if you meet the requirements for support , they will grant you an allowance.

Required Documents For Apply for Child Day Care Allowance 

  • Identification document (picture ID, such as passport, license or voter’s registration card) for each individual that includes full name and the date of birth.
  • Social insurance numbers (for both you as well as your spouse or significant other)

Eligibility

If you’re Bermudian or the spouse of someone who enjoys Bermudian Status, then you are eligible to apply if you meet the following criteria: of the following requirements:

  • The child you’re applying for has Bermudian status
  • A child’s age range is the ages of birth to four years old, and is not yet enrolled in the pre-school program, whether private or public.
  • Your (gross) household income cannot exceed the amount that is prescribed as the maximum.
  • The proposed child care provider is licensed or registered by the Department of Health and compliant with the Day Care Centre Regulations.
  • The child is yours and you hold custody , or care and control.
