How To Apply for Driver License for Motorbikes In Austria
- You must successfully complete the required training for the license class you’re applying for. You will receive a provisional license once you have completed all courses.
- After passing the test for practical driving A provisional license is issued. The drivers license with a credit card will be issued within a couple of days following payment of the charges which are listed on the cost sheet. The sheet will be sent to you by post.

What Are All The Eligibility
The Drivers License Law provides that applicants must adhere to the age limit of
- 1 – 16 Years old
- A2 18-year-old with an A1 license for two years.
- A aged between 20 and 20, holding an A2 license for two years.
Fees
- The new application: 60.50
Note: The charges can be paid anytime during office hours, in money directly with the Authority. If you are using the variation that the pay slip is attached, this, the to the payment slip must be used or at a minimum be provided with the application number (otherwise it could cause problems of money to the authorities).
Validity
The temporary license is valid only:
- Up to four weeks after the date it was announced (deadline cannot be extended)
- When paired with an ID photo issued by the government
- Within Austria
Driver Licenses issued on the 19th of January 2013, are valid for 15 years.
Note: The provisional license will cease to be valid after the driving permit is issued.

Processing Time
The process of processing the new license will take no more than five or 10 days following the production order. The credit card driving licence will be sent to the address of the applicant or the address of the applicant. It is also possible to avail an express delivery (costs 16 euros) which means that the license will be handed to you in two days.

- Engine power up 35 kW (48 horsepower ) and a power/ weight not exceeding 0.2 kg/kW that is not the result of an automobile with more than twice their power (35 kW must be at least 175 kg weight of the vehicle)
Class A
- Motorcycles without or with side-car three-wheel motor vehicles (Class A also contains the driving licenses for categories AM A1, A1 and.)
