- The Authority will not issue an import licenses mentioned in the ordinance unless the person applying has provided a complete list of the imported goods as evidence that the product is in compliance with the standards required in the ordinance.
- Pay the applicable fees, based on the guidelines of officials from the Uganda Revenue Authority and attach an original pay slip issued by the Bank to the application.
- Send the application, along with the necessary documents to the Commissioner for the Domestic Tax Uganda Revnue Authority duly signed by applicant. A release order will be issued.
- After approval by the Commissioner, domestic Tax , they will issue an import license for second-hand clothes to the person who is applying for it.
