What Are All The Eligibility

You must be a resident of Antigua and Barbuda who is younger than 16.

Fees

  • Passport for people who are younger than 16 years (32 pages) (32 pages) EC $50.00
  • Emergency Passports to persons who are less than 16 years old (32 pages)– EC $200.00

Validity

A standard passport (both with 32 or 64 pages) is valid for a period of 10 years.

The normal passport takes approximately three (3) months to complete. A passport for emergencies is processed in 24 hours.

  • There are several types of passports. A standard passport of 32 pages is sufficient for the majority of travelers. But a passport that has 64 pages is available to those who frequent travel and can quickly fill in the visa pages in the standard passport. A passport for emergencies is processed in 24 hours.
  • The applicant’s parent or guardians should fill out the Section 10 of the application form if you’re either 16 or 17 years old except if you’re married (when you must present the ceremony certificate).
  • The applicant has to be verified by a person listed in Section 9 by any of the following individuals, regardless of whether they are current or former employees such as a Member of Parliament, Notary Public, Magistrate, Minister of Religion certified by law to conduct wedding ceremonies, Professional Engineer Professional Accountant and Police Officer (Gazetted rank) or Bank Manager. Registered Dentist, Medical Practitioner Permanent Secretary Principal Assistant Secretary Director of a Secondary or Primary school and Director of Government Department, Barrister-at-Law, Attorney or Solicitor who has had a personal relationship with applicant not under two (2) months and is who lives at Antigua as well as Barbuda.
