How To Apply for Phytosanitary Certificate In Antigua and Barbuda

Apply in-person By Yourself:

  1. To apply for an application for a Phytosanitary certificate, applicants must contact an official from the Plant Protection Unit. Contact details are provided below in the “Office addresses and locations” section.
  2. It is necessary to send an application form in writing to Plant Protection Unit. Plant Protection Unit.
  3. The request for application should contain the information below within”Required information” section “Required data” section.
  4. Make sure you have all the necessary documents which are listed under”Required Documents” on the “Required documents” section of this page.
  5. The applicant should submit the request for approval and documents to the Plant Protection Unit via email.
  6. Once the request for application is approved and processed The Officer in Charge then arranges for an inspection. The assigned Inspector examines the shipment.
  7. If the test yields satisfying results, then the person applying must pay the required fee and obtain the Phytosanitary Certificate.
