How To Apply for MOBSE Scholarship In Gambia
- Applications forms are available from the Human Resources Directorate (HRD) or from any Regional Education Directorate. The application forms can also be downloaded by clicking the following website : The application form
- The entire form are required and must be completed and sent to the Director HRD in the Kanifing Education Complex not later than the deadline; late submissions are not considered.
- The signature section of the application form has to be properly signed. In instances of applicants coming from institutions that are subverted the application form must have the signature of the school’s principal or education secretaryariat, depending on the situation.

What Are All The Eligibility

- The application must appear made on that MoBSE approved application form. and the Training Committee (TC) is not required to take into consideration any application which is not in the prescribed application form that must be received before the established Deadline.
- Every applicant must have licensed teachers with at least three years experience in teaching for HTC holders, and five years teaching experience in the case of PTC holders.
- Candidates must have an current unconditional offer or acceptance from UTG. Admissions that are prior to the start of the current year must complete the deferment prior to applying. Those who have a conditional offer must satisfy the terms of the offer prior to submitting for scholarships.
- The applicants must be admitted to UTG’s School of Education of the UTG.
- All applicants should have two relevant subjects, one of which is major and the second as minor.
- The applicants must be confirmed by the establishment, and be ready to sign the necessary bonds and then apply for study leave and salary.
The TC will only consider applicants who are accepted to the UTG on a full time basis. Applications from students who are part-time are not considered.
