  • The change may be made public for the benefit of an international citizen by a different individual through an authority of attorney.The changes can be disclosed on behalf of an individual from another country by another person using the power of attorney. It is essential that the power of attorney has to show that it was signed to serve this particular for this specific purpose. Its signatures don’t require notarization.
  • If a foreign national has an authorization to reside in the shape of biometric passport (ePKP) then the person is issued a new biometric passport. The person must be present in person to allow biometric data of the holder to be taken.
  • If a foreign citizen reports the change to an MOI office which does not have the equipment to collect biometric information the person is required to provide their biometric data to another office. It is suggested to set up an appointment at the appropriate office as soon as is possible.

If a foreign citizen is unable to report the modification within the legally required period because of circumstances beyond that of their control, they must inform the authorities within three working days of the reason closing. The foreign national has to prove these circumstances. If the change isn’t declared within the legally mandated period , and there is no obstruction that is beyond the national’s control, delays in reporting the change could be deemed to be an infraction and a fine may be handed down.
