Obtain a Certificate of Fish Vessel Ownership In Uganda By Online
- Select and fill out an application for a registration certificate to fishing vessel ownership application form from Directorate of Fisheries at the Ministry of Agriculture animal industry and fisheries as directed by the appropriate licensing authority.
- You should be able to provide a list with the nominated name for your vessel. The names should be specific to the port you are registering under. A Certificate of Registration is valid for one year and needs to be renewed every year if you wish to keep fishing to earn a the purpose of earning money.
- Once you have completed the form, complete the form and pay the fee that is prescribed at the Bank.
- Complete the form with any other necessary documents as well as a copy of the pay slips from the bank.
- After the application has been approved the certificate of registration of the fish vessel’s ownership will be issued for the person who submitted it.
- The licensing authority is able to refuse to issue a fishing vessel ownership certificate based on a sounding reasons, and could cancel any certificate issued in the event that it finds that any of the conditions and conditions on that the license was issued was violated.

- Applicant must get Clearance from Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives for those who are not nationals.

- The applicant, who could be an individual or director or agent for a company is required to complete the Fishery application procedure

- Vessel maker/ repair/ local gear maker 500 000 Ugshs.
