  2. Complete and submit your application on.
  3. Submit and present all necessary documents listed below.

Documents Required Obtain a Passport

  • Original birth certificate with full details (if the citizen is a descendant of a birth certificate issued by Antiguan or Barbudan parent)
  • Birth certificate of baptism (if applicants are using his father’s name and the name is not listed on birth certificate)
  • Original wedding certificate, if applicable
  • Original passport
  • 2 passport photographs
  • An application form that is completed
  • Written permission for form (if applicants are not yet age 16)
  • Certificate of birth parents (if the applicant was born outside from Antigua as well as Barbuda parents)
  • Marriage certificate of the parents (if the case is applicable)
  • Naturalization or registration certificate of naturalization or registration (if applicants are naturalized or registered as a naturalized citizen or a resident or naturalized citizen of Antigua and Barbuda by naturalization or registration)

Fees

The fees are to be paid with stamps:

  • Passport for those aged 16 or more (32 pages) — EC $100.00
  • Passport for those aged 16 or more (64 pages) (64 pages) EC $175.00
  • Passport for people who are younger than 16 years (32 pages) — EC $50.00

Travel Passports Issued in Emergency Situations

Validity

The normal passport takes 3 (3) months to complete. A passport for emergencies is processed in 24 hours.

  • There are various kinds of passports. The standard passport with 32 pages is sufficient for the majority of travelers. A passport with 64 pages can be obtained to people who frequently travel and are quick to fill the visa pages in the normal passport. A passport for emergencies is processed in 24 hours.
  • The applicant needs to be endorsed by a person listed in Section 9 by any of the following individuals, regardless of whether they are currently employed or retired Members of Parliament, a Magistrate Notary Public or Minister of Religious legally qualified to conduct marriages, Professional Engineer Professional Accountant and Police Officer (Gazetted rank) and Bank Manager. Registered Dental Practitioner, Medical Practitioner Permanent Secretary Principal Assistant Secretary Director of a Secondary or Primary school and Head of Government Department, Barrister-at-Law, Attorney or Solicitor who has had a personal relationship to the person applying for not more than (2) two (2) years, and resides (Gazetted Rank), Bank Manager, Solicitor-at-La Antigua as well as Barbuda.
