Instructions

  • A person is not allowed to conduct an operation of a petrol filling stations, unless according to the conditions and terms of a valid license.
  • The licensee must sell petroleum to anyone to be used for direct use in Uganda or to retailers in accordance with the Petroleum Act.
  • One must purchase petroleum from a vehicle that is that is designed for transporting petroleum. This must be done with a an approved petroleum permit issued by the Petroleum Act.
  • Any person who is in violation of this provision commits an offense and, if found guilty be punished with a fine of not more than one million shillings and a maximum period of imprisonment for a year or both.
