Notes:

  1. For those who are citizens from Malaysia (since July 1st 2013, 1 July 2013) visas are needed only for holders of an ePassport that conforms to ICAO standards. People who do not have this type of ePassport should apply for an advance visa in order to avoid being assessed and may be denied entry into Japan.
