What Are All The Eligibility

Conditions:Sentences:

  • If the defendant is found guilty of a crime, the sentence is registered in the list of domestic violence convictions that entails paying an amount of money ranging from 1 1/2 to 15. UTM.

Conditional suspension of the issuance of the decision:

  • In this situation, the court, in accordance with the facts and circumstances the court may make a ruling which has to meet the following conditions:
    • The defendant has acknowledged the facts.
    • There is a reason to believe that the past will not repeat similar events in the future.
    • That the offender has committed to fulfilling specific obligations related to specific family relations.
    • In compliance with specific safety measures must be maintained for a minimum period of six months and up to one year, as per the individual victim.

Record certificate for specific purpose-domestic violence can only be given to the person who owns it or a person who has a ability to apply.

The Law 20.066 of domestic violence , promulgated on the 7th of October of 2005, required authorities of the Civil Registry and Identification to keep a specific list of those convicted, by the final judgement as perpetrators of domestic violence in addition to other resolutions that require a to keep a register.
