Eligibility

  • They can be bought by an adult who is a single person or minor, or two adults who are jointly named names. They can choose to make the purchase of paying the holders together (Joint-A ) or to one of them (Joint-B).
  • Adults may buy these certificates for one child, two children in a joint or oneself and a minor together.
  • Institutions can also invest in individual funds like pension, superannuation, gratuity contributions to contributory provident funds, trusts, etc.

Fees

The application form is completely cost-free.
The minimum investment amount is Rs.500per month However, there an investment maximum limit under this scheme.

Validity

This is a 10-year maturity scheme that comes with the features of automatic reinvestment upon the expiration date.

Instructions

The certificates can be purchased at anyone at National Savings Centre (NSC), Pakistan Post Offices (PPO) or authorized branch of Scheduled Banks and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) by filing a form known as SC-1. It can be obtained from all the above offices without cost.
