Obtain Identity Card In Iran By Online
- To get an identification card, you’ll have to visit the nearest municipal office.
- Complete the application and bring the identity proof documents. If you have an expired ID, show it when applying to renew your ID.
- Candidates will need to provide two 3x4cm photos.
Required Documents For Obtain Identity Card
- Application form completed
- Original copy and a photocopy of all pages of the applicants Iranian Birth Certificate(Shenasname).
- Two 3x4cm photos (Including the full face front view, with open eyes, no cap, glasses or neck scarfs, with the possible exclusion of headscarves(hijab for women)). The personal information of the person must be engraved on the back of each piece of photographic material[]
NOTE: If applicants is not aware of his/her National identification card’s number then he/she is not required to fill in the appropriate area on the form no.270.

Each permanent resident in Iran who is over 15 years old, regardless of whether they are citizens or not, is required to have an authentic National Identity (NID) Card.
