Obtain Nursery School Grade II License In Uganda By Online

  1. To get an Kindergarten School Grade 11 License/Permit for Uganda applicants must go to the town council/division office Education office.
  2. Choose the form to fill out and fill in every sections as directed by Town Council Authority.
  3. You must pay the fees required in the Bank before submitting.
  4. Make sure you meet all the minimum requirements that will be evaluated and comprise:
    • The applicant has to prove ownership of the land where the school is situated.
    • The applicant is also required to attach information about the financial resources that are available to the school, such as bank statements.
    • Additionally, it is necessary to determine the number of teachers who will be required to manage the nursery school as well as their education qualifications.
    • Access to facilities for recreation, including sports fields
    • The Management team or the Board of Directors in the case of private schools must be announced.
    • There are schools that do not have fields, however it is acceptable to provide proof that you are able to use facilities for recreation located within within the school vicinity.This is especially true for schools that may be located in towns or cities.
  5. If all the minimal requirements are met then the Nursery school grade 11 receives a temporary license/permit.This is granted on the condition that, within one year, the school’s owner must install all of the required requirements and then report back to the Division or Town Council offices for an operational permit or license.
  • Note A Nursery school grade 11 is different from Nursery school grade 1 in terms of Area location and required fees to be paid for the License/permit but the requirements remain the same at the Municipality level and Town/Division/trading centre level.

Required Documents For Obtain Nursery School Grade II License

  • Clearance from the Ministry of Trade Industries and Cooperatives, Ministry of Trade Non-Nationals
  • Initial Certificate of Incorporation issued by the Company for the New Business
  • Original KCCA/Municipality/Town/City receipt for the previous year indicating existing business
  • The original rent and tenancy agreement from the Landlord for the business that is now in operation
  • Initial trading License from the year prior for an already in operation

Information that could be helpful

To determine the amount of fees to be paid in any municipality, city or township, the minister must through a statutory order divide the territory of any municipality, city or town into classes.

  • Grade I zones to include all industrial zones in District and Municipality. Municipality as well as District.
  • Grade II areas will encompass all areas not included in Grade I zones in the Municipality.
  • The Grade III areas are the trading centers- within District.
  • Grade IV zones that are areas outside of the trading centers in the District.
