How To Register a Commercial Companies with the Directorate General of Tax In Gabon
What is the process to apply:
- Application forms can be obtained from any of the DIRECTION GENERALE DES IMPOTS (DGI) agency office, or download it via the DGI website or click the click below to download:(Application form IM01) & (Application form IM03)
- Complete the forms along with the required documents (listed under the “Required documents” Section) at any DGI agency offices or the Department of Tax Authorities The Registration Office to verify and processing.
- If the registry or authorized officer is satisfied documents are correct, you will be informed of the result within one week , before assigning an specific Financial Identification Numéro (NIF).
Note:
Failure to file submit an application for registration with the DGI within one month of the establishment of the company could result in an unassailable fine of 250,000 FCFA.
Documents that are required Commercial Companies with the Directorate General of Tax
- Form for registration request that is printed on IM01 from the administration, properly completed
- A certified Copy of Statutes.
- The circuit sheet is a copy provided through CDE. Center for Business Development (CDE).
- The minutes of the General Meeting and of the nominee list of shareholders for public limited companies.
- A copy of the identification documents (residence permits for foreign residents’ National identity card, driving licence or passport) for directors who are statutory (managers CEOs, CEOs and CEOs).
- Two passport photos (recent) for senior executives (manager, CEO, CEO).
- Map of the location to be created using the IM03 form supplied from the administrative department.

When forming any Commercial company within Gabon the company is required to be registered in Gabon’s Direction Generale des Impots and be assigned an individual fiscal Identification Numéro (NIF) This allows them to fulfill the following requirements:
