How To Register for Adoption In Angola
1.Prospective adoption parent(s) must contact an orphanage in the area to find the child.
2.After the identification of the child the orphanage should contact INAC (National Institute for the Child) to get their opinion. INAC issues a form of consent that gives permission to the child to be adopted.
3.The adoption parent(s) will then make an application to the Parliament (National Assembly) in order to get the acceptance to adopt the child.
- With this request, the adoptive parent also attaches the necessary documents.
4.As the adoptive parents wait for their request to be granted and then submit a separate petition in the Family Court Room requesting guardianship of the child.
- A request to guardianship could be made at the same with the request of the National Assembly is submitted.
- Similar documents to those requested in No.3 are required to be attached

What Are All The Eligibility
- Anyone can adopt whether married, single or in a common law union so in full access to their civil rights and are physically fit as well as financially and mentally prepared to support, care for and teach the child.
- The child who is adopted must: the child must:
- Do not be younger than 18
- You may be living with unidentified parents or dead or in a state of abandonment and be in the care of an institution of philanthropic or public social assistance.

Processing Time
