Renew Air Traffic Controller Licence In Uganda By Online
- In order to renew your Air Traffic Controllers License, the applicant must call the closest office of the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority Branch Office, or complete the request form in the CAA Headquarters licensing Documentation center room 112.
- The applicant must ensure that he/she has all the necessary documents required in order for the process to be successful. They are listed in the “Required Documents” section, or on this page or within the Issue renewal, Renewal and Reissue of the Air Traffic Controller Licence Including Additional Ratings document.
- Once all requirements are met and are deemed satisfactory through the authority’s Licensing Office, the applicant is advised to pay the required fees as listed in the “Fees” section of this page . UCAA charges page.
- After you have paid the fees After paying the prescribed fees, after which the Air Traffic Controller Licence is renewed in 7 days.
Required Documents For Renew Air Traffic Controller Licence
- The properly filled prescribed Application Form
- A valid medical certificate of Class 3 medical certificate.
- A test of knowledge
- The ATO Certificate certifying that the applicant has successfully completed an approved course of training in air traffic control.
- An air traffic controllers licence
- The personal records that support the experiences outlined in the application Form;
- Two passport-sized photographs from the current year (full face)
- Photo identification cards or Passport
- The fees that are prescribed

Eligibility
A licence for air traffic controllers is renewed when the holders demonstrate the required level of proficiency to the privileges to be renewed, the competence judgement and ability to ensure a safe efficient, timely and orderly control services within six months prior to the date of the application to renew.
Fees
- Renewal ATC Licence (Under 40 Years) (Ugshs 500,000)
- Renewal ATC Licence (Over 40 Years) (Ugshs200,000)
Validity
- A holder who is younger than forty-years-old is valid for twenty four months
- 40 years old or older, is valid 12 months

Instructions
- Medical examination arrangements can be made by the candidate directly to anyone Authorized Medical Examiner, names of which are available from the most current Aeronautical Information Circular (AIC) regarding Medical Examiners or from the Personnel Licensing Office.
- The certified Medical Examiner will advise the candidate on the fees for the exam.
- After a successful medical exam and upon payment of the fees to the doctor, the applicant will be issued the appropriate medical certificate A copy of this is required to be attached to the application form to apply for the Licence.
