Required Documents For Renew Identity Card
- If national Uruguayan citizen (born in the country) or Uruguay (Law 16,021 father-son or mother) or legal citizen (has CITIZENSHIP letter)
- Certificate expired or damaged, or withdrawal of identity theft or loss, as applicable.
- If a foreign citizen (except for Asylum Seekers and Diplomatic Representatives)

- Certificate of Residence issued by the National Directorate of Immigration
