How To Renew National Identity Card (Minor) In Guadeloupe

• To renew your ID card, go to your town hall. If you are in Paris you can visit the police station that you prefer. If you live outside of the country, apply for an National Identity Card at the Consulate or Embassy. Applications must be completed in person.
• The application form can be found from the counter. Make sure you fill out the correct form and remember to complete the form.
• The information you are required to submit will be based on the date of issue of the card you’re renewing or if the holder possess the passport. NOTE: You may need to schedule an appointment to complete your application.
• The identity card isn’t made on-site, so it cannot be issued instantly. The length of time required for the ID card’s issue is contingent on the location and time at which the application made.

If you’ve entered your mobile number in the application you will be notified via SMS that informs you that you are now able to get the identity document. Be aware that this service is not offered for applications made in Paris or in other countries.

• Are you in possession of a passport, but the validity of your passport has already expired:

  • Your protected identity card (electronic or biometric) expired less than five years ago : original and photocopies

Instructions
