Renew Pharmaceutical Wholesale Dealers License In Uganda By Online
- The application form, when completed, along with the necessary documents mentioned in the checklist need to be delivered personally to the Registrarat National Drug Authority offices.
- When the application forms, the applicant must pay fee for the application that is non-refundable according to the guidelines for the issuance of Wholesale Dealer Licences or as required by the Authority.
- Once the application forms and documents are received, the applicant will be informed. completed application forms and other documents, they will be analyzed and the applicant informed in writing whether or not the application was approved or not within a month.

Eligibility
Someone who intends to conduct business as a wholesaler in pharmaceuticals must have an active Wholesale Dealers License.
Fees
Renewal Fee
- (a) Grade I – 600,000 Ugshs
- (b) (b) II 315,00 Ugshs
- (c) (c) Grade III 240,000 Ugshs
- (d) Graduation IV 126,000 Ugshs

Valid for one year.
Processing Time
Maximum time 1 month.
Instructions
- The application for renewal of the Licenses is made via the National Drug Authority Management information system in writing , by filling in this renewal application form.
- The required forms to renew must be completed and application fees to be paid in January and not later than the 10th day of December each year, in order to speed up the processing of licenses.
- The renewal application is reviewed every year and the Authority will not be required to renew the licenses , except when the application, as per the current conditions when they were submitted comply with the conditions.
- All pharmacies are required to destroy regularly expired drugs using the DNA process for destruction of expired drugs.

The Document is required
- The license for pharmaceutical wholesale dealers is granted by NDAMIS it expires 10th day of the month of December in the year in which it was issued. It should be renewed each year.
Information that can be useful
A renewal application for licenses submitted before the 10th day of December be subject to a penalty for late applications. This will take it in the form of proportion of the fee for application that may be set by the Authority. The penalty currently will be 10%. It it is charged on a monthly, incremental beginning in January.

- The business of pharmacy is regulated as a professional businesses under the National drug policy and Authority Act CAP 206 of the Laws of Uganda and regulation and certification of the suitability of the premises.
- This Authority is responsible for regulating the Practice of Pharmacy and the manufacturing and Trade in drugs and poisons.
- The Authority is aiming to take appropriate regulations to ensure high standards for safety effectiveness, and high quality in all medications chemicals, pharmaceuticals and medical devices that are locally produced or imported, exported or distributed, or used in order to protect consumers as stipulated in the laws that regulate drugs currently that are in the country of Uganda.
