Renew Registration as an Importer of Fisher Product and Derivatives In Ivory Coast By Yourself
- Applicants (Individuals/Companies/businesses) located in Abidjan should Visit the Ministry of Animal and Fisheries Resources (MIRAH), Department of Animal Nutrition and Management of the Pastoral Space (DNAGEP), Sub-Directorate of Animal Nutrition and Agrostology (SDNAA) office and ones located outside Abidjan should visit the Prefecture office near them and express your interest.
- Take the registration form at the registration/service desk. make sure you fill it out accurately.
- Send the completed form, along with necessary evidence (list listed below) to the official who will be attending to be verified.
- Make the necessary processing charges in cash at the Department of Veterinary Services (DSV) cash counter. Upon which you will receive a an invoice.
- The Department of Veterinary Services (DSV) will send an inspector/health officer to the premises of the facility to conduct an examination to determine whether all the proper storage, manufacturing and safety equipment’s, ventilationare in place, and that they are suitable of the site and that employees are wearing the correct equipment/knowledge, drainage system and availability of water e.tc
- The report findings will be provided to applicants and should any modifications or enhancement is needed, Corrective Action and Preventive Action Report (CAPA) report will be issued and you will be required to fix the issue.
- After successful implementation of the CAPA A follow-up inspection can be conducted by the inspection team in order to verify the effectiveness of the CAPA (where appropriate)
- In the event that an inspector finds pleased by the follow-up inspection, you’ll be issued the certificate of inspection by a veterinarian.
- The Inter-ministerial Commission (chaired by the Ministry responsible for Trade) is scheduled to meet every two times per year to review the findings of the report and issue the certificate of authorization for importation to those who have met the conditions in the request.
- You will be informed of the outcome by phone, mail or in person. You will be given a renewed certification of your authorization as the importer for fisher product and derivatives.
- The list of applicants who have been approved is then published in the Inter-ministerial Decrees

- Request in writing (for the attention to the President of Approval Commission ) – Decree no. deg 93-312 of the 11th March 1993 – District Abidjan (Applicant).
- A Certificate of ID (Identity Card or Residence Card) valid.
- Certificate of the location of the site for exercise (Town Hall of the Municipality in question).
- Certificate of Inspection and Countervisit the manager’s radio for pulmonary (public hospital).
- A certified Copy of License from the prior calendar year (Taxation-Town Hall (for confirmation)).
- A copy of your Professional ID (Applicant).
- Employees’ list (Applicant).
- Certificate of Visit, Counter Visit as well as an X-ray of the pulmonary system for workers (public health centers).
- File of the manager or Guarantor of the company, including all the documents listed above ((Applicant).
- Declaration of Tax Existence (tax centre of your municipality).
- Certificate of Non-Bankruptcy (Commercial Court of Abidjan).
- Certificate of Regularity in Tax (Tax Central of your municipality).
- A Veterinary Inspection Certificate for the business’s premises (Veterinary Inspection Service, DSV).
- Economic Operator Identification Sheet (DSV).
- Receipt for the payment of charges relating to application file (DSV).

The Document is required
- In conformity with Decree Nr. 83-808 from 3 August 1983, and Decree n@93-312 of the 11th of March 1993, it establishes the conditions to exercise professions in the importation of goods intended to be consumed by animals or humans.
- Therefore, importers of fisher products and derivatives must get an authorization to of the importer for their fisher products as well as related derivatives issued by the ministry in order to be able import these products into Ivory Coast.
- Such Companies/business/person that are registered with the Ministry of Animal and Fisheries Resource (MIRAH)/ must renew their authorization certificate to keep enjoying the incentives that come with registration.
