Replace ID Card (Booklet) In Iran By Online
- Candidates will need to complete and make a written request for replacement to NOCR. The department of NOCR are waiting to accept documents for identification card (booklet) replacement within the office times and days.
- In addition to an application, additional documents required to approve the application:
- Replacement of worn Out New Version Identity Card Original identity card three pieces of 3x four full face front view recent photographs (for people of 15 years or older)
- In the event that an ID Card that will be replaced does not have a photo, it’s mandatory to provide a copy and original of valid documents with a photo, such as (passport military service exempt or completion card, driving license or transcript of the grades that is affixed with the image of the holder junior high and above programs, letters of introduction with photo from the appropriate school to students who are studying or identification card with a photo of civilian personnel where their identification details have been included). The original document will be returned once the original and the copy of the above-mentioned authentic documents.
- If the holder of the book is not able to meet any of the above, he/she will be taken to the police headquarters (NAJA) to confirm his/her photograph.
- Businessmen and staff of the civil service (holding the business license) are able to confirm the identity of the holder through an endorsement of the photo.
- Make payment for the fee of application.
Required Documents For Replace ID Card (Booklet)
- Replacement of worn Out New Version Identity Card Original identity card three pieces of 3x four front-facing full-face photographs (for individuals who are 15 and older)
- In the event that an ID Card that is to be replaced is not accompanied by a photo, it’s mandatory to provide a copy and original of valid documents with photos, for example (passport military service exempt or completion card, driving license or transcript of the grades that is affixed with the photo of the holder for junior high school and higher programs, a letter of introduction that is affixed with a photo from the appropriate school to students studying, or identification card with a photo of civilian personnel with their personal identification information have been listed). In the meantime, the original document will be returned following the conformity of the original and the copy of the above-mentioned acceptable documents.
- If the person who is distributing the booklet does not possess any of these items, he/she will be taken to the police headquarters (NAJA) to verify their photograph.
- Businessmen and staff of the civil service (holding the business license) are able to verify the identity of the holder by an endorsement of the photo.

Eligibility
You can apply for a fresh identity card (booklet) in the situations:
- To replace an outdated version of an identity card.
- To replace a worn-out identity card
- The replacement of an ID Card because of the awarding of the documents by judicial courts or the rulings of Dispute Settlement Councils or the decisions of the Age Ascertainment or Surname Approvals Commissions.
- Renewing ID Cards when an individual reaches 30 years of age for the purpose of replacing the photo.
- The replacement of an ID Card once the person is the age of 15.
Who can apply:
- Aged 18 and over
- applicants who are less than age of 18 must show the Growth Award
- Paternal grandfather or father
- Mother, so long as she maintains a marriage relations with the father of the child
Legal guardian (guardian administrator, trustee,) of incapacitated minors and individuals
Validity
An ID Card (booklet) is required to be renewed (replaced) once the holder turns thirty years old , by attaching of a newly-taken photo the same time.
